Teleste’s Sub-miniature Euro style Integrated Double Galvanic Isolator has been announced as the winner in the category of “Best CPE Solution” in the SCTE’s 2015 Technological Innovation Awards. The SCTE also selects a runner-up in each of the award categories. In the above mentioned category we had the honour to be selected also as the winner of the second prize with our HDU home amplifier.
The winner, Sub-miniature Euro style Integrated Double Galvanic Isolator is an ultra-low-loss, broadband miniaturised isolator that can fit within a combined Euro style multi-media wall plate. It provides enhanced bandwidth performance over an extended frequency range of 5-1700MHz, and low safety leakage current. In addition, it comes with optimised RFI screening effectiveness, and has an integrated in-line miniaturised coaxial cable interconnect on the input.
The runner-up, HDU home distribution amplifier is a compact 1.2 GHz amplifier platform. It is a future proof solution that utilizes the very latest RF MIMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) technology for ultimate RF performance and long-term reliability. It provides up to 8 dB gain with 8 dB equalization option and its automatic bypass relay guarantees lifeline support during outage.
Now in its 70th year, the SCTE (Society for Broadband Professionals) is an educational society and non-profit organisation whose aim is to raise the standard of broadband engineering in the telecommunications industry. The SCTE award gives recognition to innovation in products, systems and concepts in the broadband industry. More information about the SCTE
